Percé geopark and coronavirus disease

UNESCO Global Geopark of Percé and coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

Percé, June 15, 2020 - Here are the health measures implemented by the team at the UNESCO Global Geopark in Percé. Other instructions are coming…

. Parking is $ 10 for 24 hours. It is possible to have half an hour free if you plan to go to the grocery store or another shop in the village of Percé.

. It is prohibited for recreational vehicles or other models to park between 23 p.m. and 7 a.m.

. The parking meters only accept change for the time being. It will be possible to pay by credit or debit shortly.

. Indicators have been put on the ground in front of the parking meters in order to respect the physical distance of 2 meters between each person.

. Hand sanitizer dispensers were installed at the payment terminals.

Camping site

The campsite is currently open from 8 a.m. to 21 p.m. every day during the summer.

Rules to follow in the sanitary blocks: The facilities are available for visitors who do not have sanitary equipment, i.e. tents, tent-trailers and vans. It is strongly recommended to people who already have a toilet and a shower in their trailer to use it.

* Please note that a maximum of 8 people at a time is accepted on the women's side and on the men's side. We ask our visitors to respect a physical distance of 2 meters in the queues outside the blocks and to disinfect their hands before entering.

* The toilets in the sanitary blocks are accessible at all times.

Suspended glass platform

The suspended glass platform is now open. In order to respect the social distance of 2 meters between each person, we have implemented various health measures. Upon entering the platform, we ask you to disinfect your hands. A course made up of blue arrows and red pasties stuck on the ground, was created in order to minimize contact between people as much as possible. You can admire the view and relax at tables at your disposal so as to respect the two meters of distance. Thank you for your understanding.

Tektonik's immersive multimedia experience

The Tektonik immersive multimedia experience is open! We ask all our visitors to disinfect their hands before entering Agathe's laboratory and to follow the blue arrows and the red pastilles on the ground. Come and discover the geological history of Roché Percé through cutting-edge technology! 🙂

Thank you very much for respecting the social distance of 2 meters between each person or family.

Due to the current health situation and after having examined all the possible options, the UNESCO Global Geopark in Percé made the heavy decision not to open the zipline for the summer season 2020. On the other hand, the suspended glass platform is beautiful and well in office. We thank you for your understanding. See you next year for the zipline! 🙂
